With this interation of peavey's long running max series I know other pa speaks don't sound very good for sound reproduction. They've improved their construction over the previous series which imo was built kind of flimsy, especially with the controls which tbh was very unusual for peavey

The eminence woofer in the rumble 100 is better sounding than the speaker in the peavey. Many have asked for a pedal that would have the preamp of an original session 400 It is the exact preamp circuit used in the early 70's.
