The 718 is a fantastic car but unless you are one of those people that obsesses over size/weight then i would be hard pressed to find anyone who wouldnt take a 911 over a 718
If i could have found a 2018 base 911 for a comparable price to my 718 then i wouldnt have thought twice about buying. I just completed the tune today I decided to have valves open with pse on, auto start/stop deactivated, and cylinder shutdown deactivated Scott (the owner or softronic) said it takes 30 miles for the hp and torque to take effect

It started with a waterpump leak which got replaced along with some of the valves last year, but i have been getting cooling faults on track.
